Hope every one had a good memorial day, We did here in the Garner NC area.

Memorial day has come and gone again. Every year we have a family get together and to honor all those that served and lost their lives and for the one that served and survived.

We have a couple of former service people in the family.. one was air force, another Army and my self Army Reserve.

We mail out another post card to the Eagle Ridge golf community area and the tue after memorial day the phones lite up with 9-12 call for carpet cleaning service in that Garner NC community area..

On that note let me add the post cards we mail are the best way to market your service or company to a select group of homeowners.. We know a lot of folks have carpet in the home. Some get it cleaned every 1-2 years and other go for 10 or more before cleaning. I wonder how they can stand to have dirty carpet on the floor and not want to get it cleaned at least once a year..

I know at my house with kids and dog the carpet get dirty looking faster than normal.. Carpeting over the past year has gone through several "upgrades" as it were.. The newer type of carpeting called "Type 7" is the latest technoly in carpeting.. the new carpets stuff that is 8 yrs old and younger is better in hiding dirt.. So when the carpet look dirty its real dirty at the floor level.

Something else to know about the newer carpets and warrentys.. Most mill are requiring,, that right requiring you have the carpet cleaned at least once every 24 month by a IICRC certifed firm to maintain the carpet for warranty issues. Check you paper work or go to the manf website and check it out.. No cleaning,, NO warranty if needed..

thats all for now have a good week

Memorial Day in Raleigh NC, A day to remember

Memorial Day is a day of both great sadness and pride. Sadness in remembering all the brave heros killed in defense of our way of country and way of life.. And pride in honoring all the heroes that every day put there life on the line to protect our country way of life.. and we thank them all.

My father was in the Marines and saw action in Korea, one uncle served in Army, another in the US Coast Guard, I served in Army Reserves, my wife's cousin was in the Army, a brother in law served in Air Force during first gulf war and other in my family I don't know about..

You problem know someone or someones relative in the military as well.. so to all these past, present and future Soldiers, sailors, marines, airman and coasties, we salute you..

Happy Memorial Day 2009 may the dead rest in peace knowing they are missed and honored.
