Last couple of days have been real nice. getting lots of calls for carpet cleaning. Seems like a lot of people are realizing that a good cleaning will help the carpet last and look better longer.
I like to tell the story about changing the oil in your car every 5-7000 miles or when the "Change Oil Soon" light comes on. I think the message of change the oil every 3000 mile is not good for the environment or your pocket book. Most modern cars can go up to 7500 miles between oil changes. Check you owner manual for the real number or like my 2009 Chev Impala LTZ it goes by how many engine revolutions and other factors the computer is looking at, all so modern.
So what does changing the oil in your car and cleaning carpet have to do with each other. Simple, if you take better care of something it will last longer, be less costly and look and preform better over its life.
We get questions about what is the best product to take spot out of carpet.. We offer and give to all clients a bottle of carpet spotter called "POOF". it a good mutli-use spotter that works for most spills. There is no one thing that works for every thing. The best defense is get it up, get water on it, blot with towel and get it dry.
